Michael K. O'Malley

In 2005, Mike stepped away from a long distinguished career at MetLife to create an organization, O'Malley & Associates, LLC, which would be exemplary in expertise service and structure. Through a carefully integrated partnership with industry leaders, Mike has successfully launched a comprehensive financial services organization that delivers the highest level of care and service to its clientele.

Mike O'Malley joined MetLife November 6, 1978, as an Account Representative. The following year, at the young age of nineteen, he qualified for his first President's Conference and became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Advancing through positions of increasing responsibility, Mike was named the General Manager of the O'Malley & Associates Agency office in October of 1995. In the year 2000, O'Malley and Associates was awarded the MetLife Office of the Year Trophy for the entire country, and was named first in class by GAMA. In March of 2001, Mike was inducted into MetLife's "Manager's Hall of Fame".

Mike has also been the recipient of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum National Management Awards in addition to many Career Development Awards. Mike is a Platinum Plus GAMA contributor and served on the GAMA Foundation Board of Directors for six years. He is also on the Foundation Board for the Little Company of Mary Hospital, and the Vice Chairman of the Alexian Brothers Health Systems Foundation Board. In addition, Mike was asked to serve on the Leadership Board of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame {NIASHF}. He was honored as the Dinner Chairman for the NIASHF Induction Ceremony in 2003, and was the recipient of the Champions Award in 2004 through the NIASHF.

Mike is married to Debbie; they live in Wheaton Illinois with their two children Samantha and Sean.
